Mad Monday

I am doing my best to finish up strong this April. My focus is positive and based in the present moment. Improvement is needed in every class. I especially should improve my attendance. It is tough since my discs disease causes this problem. I have come to this realization. A teaching job will never be a reality until my degenerative disc disease problem is satisfied with a solution. I have a game plan. I should be travelling this summer to Columbia. I will be seeing another back specialist. Most likely surgery is the next step.I just want to feel better physically and emotionally. The pain can bring me down. My faith in God sees me through to a brighter and more hopeful tomorrow.

Mixbook

I have chosen to do mixbook instead of voicethread. It is a more concrete idea and is easier to communicate to elementary students. Students are more apt to learn from visual images, and mixbook allows this strategy. I am going to choose an idea that I am really excited about doing. I should have a overall structure done by next week.

7th Tech Task Continued

The voicethread is very hard to understand. For instance, I do not understand how the voice exemplar and the lesson plan are mixed. There seems to be a delicate balance between the two. Wait! Dr. Porr is showing us an for Mixbook and VoiceThread. Thank goodness. I need his guidance.

7th Tech Task

I have chosen to do the VoiceThread Curriculum Project. It is a challenging project since I have never done this before. It is comprised of a lesson plan and scoring guide. The scoring guide has two main central ideas. For example, it has an electronic lesson plan and voice thread examplar voicethread. I will need a mic for this voicethread. The electronic lesson plan will be embedded in my.pbwiki.com.

Seventh Tech Task (VoiceThread or Mixbook Critical Learning Piece)

This is a big project. I try to remember one thing about big projects. Take it in small steps. Anything can be handled in small steps. Eventually the big project is completed.
I will take deliberate action with the seventh tech task. For example, I will thoroughly research its main idea and details. I will use Google and Ask. I look forward to the challenge.

SIXTH TECH TASK

This is challenging task because I have never done anything like this before.
I will set up a specific plan of action. I need to use my.pbwiki for this task's creation. I should apply all the knowledge learned thus far. For example, Animoto and/or Picnik are useful for this task. I enjoy learning something for the first time. The hallmark of intellectual growth is pushing your mental boundaries.

Education

This project is a new endeavor. I am excited about this new technology and its possibilities. Anything that encourages creativity and new thinking is fun.
